Hey Friends!
Thanks to all of those who have partnered with us through prayer and monthly financial support. The last two months have been schedule packed with partnership meetings, building media content, and just generally trying to organize ourselves to use our time wisely.
At the beginning of June, I was able to complete my bi-annual flight review. This is a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) requirement every 2 years. This process proves your ability as a pilot and is done with the oversight of a flight instructor. I was able to fly a different airplane than normal, a Cessna 172. This plane is a 4 seater where most of my time is in my Cessna 150 2-seater. The review went well and I am cleared for another 2 years of flying.
I was also able to take Bella up for the first time. It had been two years since I had gotten my pilots license, I just couldn’t find the right time and conditions to take her. I chose to take her one evening as we were headed down to West Plains anyway. Evenings typically offer smooth air especially right before dark as we went. We flew a couple of rounds in the pattern for her to get acclimated to taking off and landing. Then we flew from Willow Springs to West Plains where we were able to fly over grandparents’ house. She did great and even took the controls for a bit. She will make an awesome co-pilot and hopefully pilot someday
June partnership development was really encouraging and we were able to reach 10% of our goal. This is a really big deal in which God has shown himself faithful through you guys. Please be praying that God will continue to open doors for partnerships and that we can be serving with SOAR in January. We know that this is a lofty goal but God is faithful.
